OUR STORY

THE BEGINNING

It was 7th of March 1986 that the Lord said to his servant Archbishop Sam Amaga; you shall raise me an army

People who are strong in faith.
People who are empowered by wisdom.
People who are intimate with the Holy Ghost.
People who are doing exploit in life and for God.

OUR MANDATE

Thus the mandate to raise people who are change agents in the hand of the Lord was delivered. Foundation Faith Church, therefore, is the first 10 years of church planting labour that Archbishop Sam Amaga, his wife and five children and the host of ministers he raised embarked upon in the city of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. Since then it has grown into the worldwide ministry today, known as Salem International Christian Centre.

OUR MISSION

To raise the great army of people who shall live holy and live ready and be rewardable when Jesus returns.
To establish 300million of such army of people in over 150,000 churches worldwide if Jesus tarries more shall be established.
To establish ministries as component parts of achieving our God-given objectives.

To achieve these laudable goals, we are focusing on raising people;

Who will not settle for the average, but strive for distinctive achievement in the area of their calling.

Who will not be ruled by the fear of their disappointments, but will go all out to realise their dreams.
Who will not be imprisoned by their disappointment, but will go all out to realise their dreams.
Who will not be ruled by the fear of their darkest mistakes, but shall walk with the Holy Spirit to focus on the opportunities and create an opportunity for others to excel.
Who are empowered in their spirit, soul and body to go out there and evangelise the gospel with all boldness and authority in Christ Jesus.
Who will pursue every Godly opportunity with passion and create room for others to achieve.

OUR CORE VALUES

Practical Peace and Righteousness

This is our Jesus centred heritage. Salem means peace and righteousness. We are committed to raising a people who are committed to a life style of peace and holiness.

Faith and Wisdom

Practical spirituality forms the bedrock of our very existence. We are raising people who are: strong in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ; committed to a life of faith that pleases the Lord (Hebrews 11:6); committed to a life of practical wisdom that will guarantee their heritage on earth (Proverbs 9:9-12).

Intimacy with the Holy Spirit

There can never be true spirituality without a personal intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. We are committed to raising Pastors, Leaders and a people who personally experience the person of the Holy Spirit. Every notable, remarkable and mighty act in ministry and life are a direct reflection of the presence, the power and the blessing of the Holy Spirit.

Confidence and Positive Mentality

We are raising a people who are expected to exhibit leadership traits, character and habits that reflect confidence and dignity at all levels.

Capacity building

We are committed to raising a people who themselves show commitment to a lifestyle of continuous studies and personal development, striving to be relevant to the overall vision.

Integrity

A man may rise to the top by craftiness, but only integrity can keep him there. Salemites worldwide are therefore expected to demonstrate honesty, uprightness and trustworthiness at all times. They must be transparent and be a people of virtue.

Responsibility

Doing the right thing at the right time and for the right reasons is one of the values we want Salemites worldwide to hold dear. We believe in discipline for effective leadership.

Diligence

Only the diligent eventually stand before kings, therefore, Salemites worldwide are expected to be strongly committed to a diligent lifestyle. We extol the virtues of hard work and quality input to achieve great output and a consistent strive towards excellence.

Sacrifice

Going up requires giving up something. Sacrifice is the ultimate price for outstanding leadership. For this reason, Salemites worldwide are expected to go extra-mile, paying the extra price in the attainment of their goals.

The Lord said to His servant, Archbishop Sam Amaga on the 15th of March 1986: “I AM sending you to raise me an Army, not one great man, but a great people who are;

Strong in Faith and cannot be defeated by the devil
In close intimacy with the Holy Spirit
Empowered by wisdom to reign in their spheres of life
Strong in the Word and Prayer, walking in covenant prosperity and taking Nations for God.

This therefore is our passion and pursuit. Over the years we’ve seen many made mighty in our midst and you’re welcome to be one of them.

In the last 24 years, we have seen God save a multitude of people. We have seen God’s amazing acts in healing people. In these 24 years, we have seen God make many mighty.
