Holy Communion

1 Corinthians 11:23-26
 ²³For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
 ²⁴And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
 ²⁵After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
 ²⁶For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Hebrew 9:13-14
¹³ For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh:
¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The Holy-Communion is a miracle meal to be taken often as a re-enactment of the new covenant. It is commanded of the Lord Jesus Christ to be taken often in remembrance of him- remembrance of the atoning sacrifice, and the power we now have over sin. The intake of the blood also purifies our conscience from every dead work, so we can serve the living God in righteousness. We take the Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month.
