Baptism

Mark 16:16
¹⁶He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

 Romans 6:4-5
⁴Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

 ⁵For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Colossians 2:12
¹²Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

We believe that water baptism is by immersion, in line with the scriptures. The word baptism is from the Greek word ‘baptizo’, which means to dip repeatedly, or to immerse or submerge. In baptism therefore, you are dipped into the water: recognizing with the death of Jesus, then brought up from the water recognizing with his resurrection. You died onto weakness during the immersion and are raised onto glory just as Christ was raised from the death unto glory. There is a department in the church to prepare you for this life changing experience. It does not cost you anything outside making yourself available. It is a requirement for every believer, so make sure you go through it, so your faith is established on biblical truths.
