It was 7th of March 1986 that the lord said to his servant Archbishop Sam Amaga; you shall raise me an army

Thus the mandate to raise people who are change agents in the hand of the Lord was delivered Thus the mandate to raise people who are change agents in the hand of the Lord was delivered. Foundation Faith Church therefore is the first 10 years of church planting labour that Archbishop Sam Amaga, his wife and five children and the host of ministers he raised embarked upon in the city of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

• To raise the great army of people who shall live holy and live ready and be reward able when Jesus returns
• To establish 300million of such army of people in over 150,000 churches worldwide if Jesus tarries more shall be established.
• To establish ministries as component parts of achieving our God given objectives.

To achieve these laudable goals, we are focusing on raising a people;

1. Who will not settle for the average, but strive for distinctive achievement in the area of their calling.
2. Who will not be ruled by the fear of their disappointments, but will go all out to realise their dreams.
3. Who will not be imprisoned by their disappointment, but will go all out to realise their dreams.
4. Who will not be ruled by the fear of their darkest mistakes, but shall walk with the Holy Spirit to focus on the opportunities and create opportunity for others to excel.
5. Who are empowered in their spirit, soul and body to go out there and evangelise the gospel with all boldness and authority in Christ Jesus.
6. Who will pursue every Godly opportunity with passion and create room for others to achieve.

Dr. Sam Amaga is the founder of Salem International Christian Centre (SICC), Abuja, Nigeria. He is also the presiding ArchBishop of Foundation Faith Church Worldwide. For almost 30 years in ministry, Dr. Sam Amaga has brought the raw undiluted word to his generation and has taught principles from the scriptures which has reflected in his leadership and added to the posterity and intergrity of the ministry.

Dr. Sam Amaga received the call into fulltime ministry at a time he was hitting the limelight in the management of a leading Pharmaceutical company in Nigeria, West Africa, in July 1982.A graduate of Microbiology and also holds a C. Th. (Counsellor of Theology) from the Freelandia Institute (Evangelical College & Seminary) in 1988.

He was honoured in 1992 with a Doctor of Theology from Evangel Christian University of America. In 1994, he and his wife were also honoured with Doctor of Divinity from the All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City, Nigeria. As a preacher and teacher of faith, they have become gifts to the body of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Sam Amaga is the President of Salem Pastoral and Missions College (SPAMIC), an institute committed to the goal of raising men of excellence in life and ministry.

He is the International President of the International Covenant Ministerial Council (ICMC) presently focused on raising strong and effective leadership for a network of churches and ministries across the globe. There are presently over 1000 churches/ministries and ministers in this great network.

He is a member of the National Executive Council of Penticostal Fellowship Of Nigeria (PFN). A member of International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC) in USA and other Countries.

He is one of the founding members of Trans Atlantic and Pacific Alliance of Churches (TAPAC) United Kingdom and Worldwide.

He is also member of International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC) USA and other countries.

Archbishop Sam Amaga is currently the National President of the Pentecostal Bishops’ Communion of Nigeria (PEBICON)

Bishop Dr. Love Sam Amaga is a native of kogi state, Nigeria. She is a world renowned Teacher, conference speaker, author of many lives changing books. Bishop Dr. Love Sam Amaga is presently the rector of Salem pastoral and Management College.

Dr Love Sam Amaga is a woman of many parts. She received the mandate from God to liberate and raise the most neglected group of humanity. By this she started children evangelism and established children bible club since 1980. Ever since she has raised children evangelist through her seminars for the children’s ministry network.

Dr Love has created great impact in pioneering the church ministry with her husband Dr. Sam Amaga from the onset of foundation faith church worldwide. She has been involved in various foreign missions and in the planting of churches worldwide.

She has authored and co-authored over 120 books with her husband. She is the president of International Council of Female Ministers (ICFM), an international ministry to female ministers of the gospel and she is also the president of Salem women intl worldwide.

Her family line TV ministry has been a profound blessing to singles and couples. Her family life is blessed with fire anointed children: Pst Covenant, Pst Joyce, Pst Isaiah Sam Amaga Jnr, Rev Ezekiella and Faith Sam Amaga.

July 2nd, 1982
Working as an Assistant Manager for Mayor & Co Pharmaceuticals Ltd in Jos. I came to the office this morning like any other. Standing outside my office, I knew it was time to leave. I hadn’t discussed with my wife yet but she knew I had a call on my life and was afraid to do anything about it. I tendered my resignation and left the company.

1982 – 1985 August
I was running my business in Makurdi and preaching. I was heavily involved with weekend children’s Ministry seminars in churches but 1984 December 31 the day my son was born, I was commissioned as the resident Pastor of Shallom Christian Centre (Restoration Centre), Makurdi.

By August 1985, I moved to the Headquarter of the mission in Ozoro, the then Bendel state. I was posted by the next week to Igbanke mission field. God raised some abiding fruit from the mission field of Igbanke.

1986 – 1988
It was God incubating me in the wilderness of preparation and particularly from the 7th of March 1986 when the Lord unveiled to me the mission and the mandate of the ministry we are today.

June 29th 1988
It was the day the chariot of the new phase moved. We moved from Ozoro to Port-Harcourt and in 10 years, God moved in His glory in the city of Port-Harcourt. The Lord is still saving, healing and making many mighty.
- We saw the vision so real.
- God was raising for himself a great army of people.
- Who are strong in Faith
- Who are empowered by Wisdom
- Who are intimate with the Holy Ghost and
- Who are doing Exploits.

As at 2010, over 100 strong branches of Foundation Faith Church are blazing the trail in evangelism and soul winning in the city of Port-Harcourt.

PIONEERING THE TV MINISTRY – OCTOBER 8, 1990
The 1st signal of our TV Ministry - The Hour of Victory was aired on various state televisions and since then, God had faithfully kept the TV ministry on and expanding.

Dr. Love and I with the help of the Holy Ghost moved to capture another pillar of the University.

The 1st Nursery and Primary school called FAITH EDUCATION CENTRE was established in the city of Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.

It was followed by the establishment of FAITH INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE, a Sunday school in the same city of Port-Harcourt.

Earlier, the Covenant Faith Bible Institute (CFBI) had been birthed with Dr. Love Sam-Amaga as the Pioneering Rector.
The CFBI has raised mighty men and women in ministry today doing great exploits.

THE TINY LIGHT OF THE UNIVERSITY VISION
It was about 4.30 am in my chambers with the Holy Ghost that the seed of SALEM UNIVERSITY dropped upon my spirit on the 6th of August 2002.
Salem University was licensed to operate in Nigeria on the 17th of May 2005 and in February 2009, Salem University opened her doors to the pioneer global leaders.
Salem University is a vision of raising Global Leaders.
The doors of education ministry that God opened to us has also opened SALEM.

In the year 2009, SALEM PASTORAL AND MANAGEMENT COLLEGE was registered by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

December 26, 1998 – The Gateway Church To Nations
Dr. Love and I and the whole family drove from Port-Harcourt en route Benin to Lagos when by the leading of the Holy Ghost, we have come to know is our next missions’ field.
Between 1998 and November 12th 2000, God had supernaturally raised a people and given us a sizable land in Lekki axis of Lagos.

Salem International Christian Centre was established and expanding nations of the earth have opened to us since this move.

THE YEAR 2000
It was the beginning of a new Millennium. There were palpable fears of computer glitz and major confusion. But when Dr. Love went to London to have a one week rest, God opened her eyes to see the pitiable spiritual condition of Europe.
The Lord said to her to;
‘‘say to my servant, you shall have a part in the revival of Europe.’’
My wife and I moved over to London with our children again to pioneer the beginning work of Europe. She was left behind to pastor that church for a while, while I commuted between Lagos and London for monthly programs until some establishment set in.
That work today has grown to become a big diocese spreading through campuses and nations of Europe. Good is simply good and faithful.

Meanwhile the work in Lagos was growing and expanding in network until the 3rd phase of the mandate came in 2008 February 11th when Salem International Christian Centre was inaugurated.

The focus is the north and the middle belt mission.
